Thread: Buy US PSN games for UK?

Hi,

Is it possible to buy a game from the US PSN store and us it in the UK? I have made a JPN account so making a US account should be easy but how can I get it to work with my credit card?

I would really appreciate some help as I want to buy nova strike.

I would presume you need a US credit card to be able to buy things from the US PlayStation Store.

You don't need a US credit card any credit card will do. Once you have made the account it's as easy as buying stuff on the EU store.

you can't use any card as it has to be one registered to an american address

I found a site called EntroPay, so I am going to give that a go. Will let you know if it works.

You are indeed correct I recieved this reply when I asked them when the details I entered in to PSN failed, EntroPay said this:-

"We apologise for the inconvenience.
Although our cards accepted by a vast majority of online merchants, please note Playstation have changed their payment mechanism and are unable to process payments with prepaid cards."

So there you go it's bust, back to the drawing board. Darn I want to play Nova Strike tonight.
